Travel medical coverage has a specific purpose. Review the actual benefits for your trip. Do not assume that trip interruption means pre-departure trip cancellation coverage.

The fine print
deserves a look.

Eligibility, coverage dates, and destination
Atlas Travel’s specimen covers eligible travelers at least 14 days old outside their home country. Its specimen describes a maximum duration of 12 months, excluding an applicable benefit period. Confirm the chosen plan’s rules, extensions, and destination availability in the quote application. Select coverage that includes the U.S. if required by your itinerary.
What about pre-existing conditions?
Travel and Premium describe a limited acute-onset benefit for eligible people under age 80. This is not general coverage for ongoing or expected treatment. Essential does not include that benefit. The definition, treatment timing, and other restrictions matter.
How much will I pay out of pocket?
Your selected deductible, eligible charges, coinsurance, and any copayments determine your share. Essential’s brochure lists 70% payment for eligible in-PPO expenses after the deductible; out-of-PPO payment is limited to usual, reasonable, and customary charges. Read the policy’s network terms.
Can I add benefits?
Atlas Travel lists optional upgrades for crisis response, personal liability, and accidental death and dismemberment. Availability and extra cost must be confirmed during the quote process. Do not assume the same options apply to Essential or Premium.
What else should I check?
Review excluded activities, routine care, pregnancy provisions, pre-existing conditions, coverage alerts, and geographic restrictions. Ask WorldTrips to resolve any difference between marketing summaries and the documents offered with your quote.
