A specific kind

$50,000Emergency evacuation lifetime limit
$25,000Repatriation of remains lifetime limit
$0Deductible

This plan does not cover medical treatment expenses. It supplements evacuation and repatriation needs; review your existing health coverage too.

What is covered?
The official page lists a $75,000 overall lifetime maximum and up to $5,000 lifetime for local burial or cremation. Covered evacuation addresses a qualifying emergency requiring transportation to a suitable hospital; it is not a promise of transport to your preferred hospital.
Who may qualify?
The policy specimen lists U.S. and non-U.S. citizens ages 14 days through 50 outside their home country. The marketing page emphasizes students and U.S. visitors. Because summaries differ, confirm your citizenship, destination, age, and dates in the application before relying on eligibility.
How does evacuation work?
WorldTrips must approve and coordinate arrangements in advance. Contact the assistance service immediately when evacuation may be needed. Medical necessity and the policy’s other conditions must be satisfied.
What is excluded?
Medical treatment expenses and trip protection expenses are excluded. Enrollment while confined to specified care facilities has a 30-day post-discharge restriction for related injury or illness benefits. Review the full exclusions and any geographic limitations.
Duration, options, and existing coverage
Confirm available coverage dates in the quote. The policy describes termination at the end of paid coverage or return home, subject to its terms. No optional add-ons or starting price are represented here. Compare travel medical plans if you also need treatment coverage.
